Diamond Dinner 2019

United Cerebral Palsy of Delaware, Inc. (UCP) and the Wilmington Blue Rocks hosted this year’s 14th Annual Diamond Dinner at The White Clay creek Country club in Wilmington. 

The Diamond Dinner recognizes and honors individuals who have overcome obstacles in their lives to participate in sports.  This year, we recognized FIVE inspirational individuals from across the state.  THREE high school student-athletes received a $500 Victory Scholarship Award, THREE student-athletes received a Profile in Courage Award.


This year’s diamond Dinner Awardees are:

$500 Victory Scholarship Award

William Barrow – 11th grade, Basketball, Cape Henlopen High School


Grace Wisnewski – 10th grade, Volleyball and Basketball, Middletown High School


Kahmya Dorsey – 9th grade, Basketball, Glasgow High School


Profile in Courage Award

Andrew Arterbridge – 10th grade, Baseball, St. George’s Technical High School


Cecily DiVirgilio – 11th grade, Soccer, Middletown High School
